{"id":10712,"date":"2009-01-09T09:40:17","date_gmt":"2009-01-09T13:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ewm.com\/internalblog\/?p=10712"},"modified":"2009-01-09T09:40:17","modified_gmt":"2009-01-09T13:40:17","slug":"90-day-challenge-tools-you-can-use-single-property-websites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.myewm.com\/?p=10712","title":{"rendered":"90 Day Challenge &#8211; Day 40 &#8211; Tools You Can Use &#8211; Single Property Websites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As our marketing efforts move more towards internet based tools it is time we look at the <strong>Single Property Website<\/strong>.\u00a0 Basically, a single property website is exactly what it sounds like &#8211; a website devoted to one listing.\u00a0 Think of it as an online property brochure that the search engines love.\u00a0 Check out this nice single property site from Carole Smith&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.9740sw60court.com\/\">http:\/\/www.9740sw60court.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pretty cool, huh?\u00a0 It is just as it says &#8211; an entire website for that one property.\u00a0 Carole, very cleverly I might add, has taken the additional step of registering a domain with the property address.\u00a0 See the link?\u00a0 It is the propertyaddress.com.\u00a0 See what happens when you google the property address?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?hl=en&amp;rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS232US232&amp;q=9740+SW+60+Court&amp;btnG=Search\" target=\"_blank\">Click here for search results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to see why Carole continues to be a top producer, here&#8217;s what you need to do to make your very own single property websites&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"http:\/\/www.agencylogic.com\/\"><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agencylogic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.agencylogic.com\/images\/AgencyLogic-PowerSites.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Although there are many single property websites popping up, I like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agencylogic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Power Sites<\/a>.\u00a0 The interface is easy to use and the SEO built into every site is amazing.\u00a0 Power sites also has great webinar training just in case you are feeling a little technologically challenged.<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"http:\/\/www.godaddy.com\/default.aspx\"><p><img src=\"http:\/\/imagesak.godaddy.com\/fos\/log\/1\/log_hdr_gd.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, for that extra punch, you need to learn to register a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Domain_name\" target=\"_blank\">domain name<\/a>.\u00a0 This is a little more complicated- but you should be able to do it by now since you are so accomplished from doing the 90 Day Challenge ;).\u00a0 As luck would have it, I was able to find this how to video which is fairly easy to follow.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sc-lightbox image\"><span><img class=\"lightbox\" src=\"http:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/\/0.jpg\"><\/span><div class=\"image-overlay\"><div class=\"image-overlay-inner\"><div class=\"hover-icons\"><a class=\"hover-zoom prettyPhoto\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=\"\"><i><\/i><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>It seems to me that the single property website and the domain name registration should be part of your marketing plan on every listing.\u00a0 What happens once the listing sells?<\/p>\n<p>Power Sites suggests that once the property sells you switch the site to a just sold site &#8211; good idea.\u00a0 As for the address domain name &#8211; you can offer that to the buyer at closing or better yet, keep the domain name and offer to put up a site about the house while they live there.\u00a0 Talk about a great way to keep in touch with a client!
