As we move into the internet marketing world, EWM has carefully studied where the best places to invest marketing dollars is with regard to internet marketing. \nRealtor.com is the online Real Estate advertising leader in the three major categories that websites are judged by: Site Traffic, Content, Consumer Time Spent.<\/p>\n

Site Traffic:<\/strong> Realtor.com averages between 6.5 to 7 million Unique Visitors to the site every month.

\nContent:<\/strong> Realtor.com has contracts with 99.9% of all of the MLSs across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Those MLSs are constantly feeding us information making Realtor.com the only site with the freshest listings on the web today.<\/p>\n

As Ron often says, we learn everything from you and this new benefit is no exception.\u00a0 While out doing office visits, some of you asked “why can’t we appropriate some of our ad credits to online sources like realtor.com?”\u00a0 We listened.\u00a0 Beginning April 1, 2009 we will no longer be offering ad credits for rentals, residential land or residential income properties in exchange for enhancing every EWM listing on realtor.com – including rentals.<\/p>\n

So what do I need to do?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Many of you are already realtor.com customers.\u00a0 If you have been paying monthly you need only to call 1-800-878-4166<\/strong> to cancel.\u00a0 If you paid on an annual basis, call the same number and ask them to refund you for the unused portion of your annual contract.\u00a0 You are all set to go.<\/p>\n

For those of you who are new to realtor.com, you need to email\u00a0 Debra Spadafora\u00a0 at debra@ewm.com.<\/a> She will send you your user name and password so that you can go into Http:\/\/solutioncenter.realtor.com<\/a> and sign up for your account.\u00a0 The most important thing for you all to do is to add your email address to your account so that you can begin to get your buyer leads.\u00a0 You will also need to update your photo, cell phone, website and other personal information.\u00a0 We will take care of the listing information.\u00a0 We will get all of the photos, enhanced comments and open houses in a feed direct to realtor.com from ewmrealtors.com so make sure your pictures and remarks are there.<\/p>\n

Representatives from realtor.com will be training in your office soon to make sure you take full advantage of this great tool.\u00a0 I will also be at a meeting soon to go over this and some other exciting developments.<\/p>\n
