Stay tuned for regular installments of some great short sale resources that will help you turn those lemon listings into lemonade.\u00a0 Today I would like to start with the new Short Sale Starter Kit that has been put together by EWM Title.<\/p>\n

As anyone who has dealt with Short Sales can tell you, the biggest headache is waiting to hear from the bank to accept the offer from the buyer.\u00a0 I recently heard of a bank finally accepting an offer 1 year after it was sent to them.\u00a0 Although 1 year is extreme, it is not uncommon for the short sale process to take 4-6 months for a bank to accept a good offer from a buyer.<\/p>\n

In an attempt to help streamline the process,\u00a0 EWM Title is pleased to announce the \u201cShort Sale Starter Kit\u201d.\u00a0 The Starter Kit is aimed at people who are selling their house and know that their mortgage amount is higher than what the property is worth.\u00a0 Starting the process before a home is under contract will shorten the time frame once a contract is received considerably.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 Starter kit includes sample forms and contact information to get the process started.\u00a0 The helpful staff at EWM Title will assist sellers by following up on the paperwork submissions to push things along so that when that offer comes along, a quick closing is sure to happen.<\/p>\n
