{"id":12969,"date":"2009-10-18T17:44:49","date_gmt":"2009-10-18T21:44:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ewm.com\/internalblog\/?p=12969"},"modified":"2009-10-18T17:44:49","modified_gmt":"2009-10-18T21:44:49","slug":"how-small-is-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.myewm.com\/?p=12969","title":{"rendered":"How small is the world?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One Saturday a few months back, I was ending my floor duty and about to leave when a young lady walked into the office and asked a few questions about available properties in the area &#8211; the more we talked I found she is from Japan, but actually lives in Pretoria, South Africa. \u00a0 I had a few moments and she was on her way to &#8220;see&#8221; Calle Ocho, I offered her a ride &#8211; ended up touring her through Brickell, the Biscayne corridor &amp; Midtown.\u00a0 Found out she is on assignment for the Japanese government, has a condo in New York, one in Boston, one in Tokyo and she is thinking, next Miami. Last week I returned from a 10-day trip to Kenya, I happened to write Yuki before I left telling her I would be in Africa. Guess who I had drinks with in Nairobi?
