(no lie) Phillipe, Philippe, Philippe, Philipe, Stark, Starck, Starke, Starcke. So I decided to contact Philippe myself to determine once and for all the correct spelling of his name. (lie) I met him a few years ago at a private Art Basel party. (huge lie – I’ve never been to Art Basel and wouldn’t know Philippe Starck if I fell over him) Turns out his name is spelled P-H-I-L-I-P-P-E S-T-A-R-C-K exactly as it was on that unusually balmy night at the party when he gave me his phone number. (complete and absolute lie. I only know how to spell his name because I Googled it right before I started this blog) Just something to keep in mind. If you’re going to name-drop in your ads, both you and your listings will appear a lot more sophisticated if you double check the spelling of the name you’re dropping before you actually drop it.
