And much as I enjoy writing about something that interests me, it was amazing to start getting a few comments in response. Somebody was actually reading my blog, and feeling motivated enough to write back. Wow, like a junky I started to comb my email for messages signaling another comment. Yes, I confess, I even counted how many  comments other blogs were getting, who was winning the contest of the week, etc&#8211; I was ready for BA (Bloggers&#8217; Anonymous).<\/p>\n<p>So you can imagine how exhilarating it felt to be in the top 10 on Google: as a blogger, you feel as if you&#8217;ve achieved a level of fame and recognition, and it came so fast! It&#8217;s Sally Fields, on winning her academy award, gushing &#8220;you really like me&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>My blog on Josh&#8217;s Organic Market was #7 out of 22,200 but even more impressive (at least to me) was hitting page 2 out of 932,000: if you google <strong>Hollywood Boardwalk<\/strong>, there&#8217;s my blog, between 11-20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was a virgin , blogger that is, until recently.
