While open houses, appropriate pricing and traditional marketing strategies remain important to real estate agents, the right smartphone plays a growing role in professional success as business becomes more mobile.<\/p>\n

There are hundreds of products available, but condo.com says it studied all of them and narrowed the offerings down to the five smartphones most suitable for residential real estate practitioners:<\/p>\n

1. iPhone 5 \u2013 Topping the list is the iPhone 5, which is touted for its large screen, which makes viewing documents easier, along with high speeds and a good camera that allows agents to take quality photos without carrying a separate camera.<\/p>\n

2. HTC One \u2013 The No. 2 spot was claimed by the HTC One, which comes close to the iPhone 5 in terms of speed, battery life and camera quality.<\/p>\n

3. Samsung Galaxy S 4 \u2013 The Samsung Galaxy S 4 ranked third, thanks to its respectable speed and two cameras. A bonus feature is a camera-based translator that can store text from a document into the phone \u2013 a time-saver for agents with loads of paperwork.<\/p>\n

4. LG Optimus G Pro \u2013 The LG Optimus G Pro, meanwhile, is recommended for realty professionals who want to eliminate their tablet and use a single device as a phone, camera and workspace. Agents find the large, high-definition display especially useful for showing listings through YouTube while out in the field.<\/p>\n

5. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 \u2013 Rounding out the compilation is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that, like the LG Optimus G Pro, serves as a \u201cphablet.\u201d<\/p>\n
