If you have an Android, I\u2019m sure you are well aware that\u00a0 there was no way to locate your phone if you lost it. Well, just a few weeks ago, Google rolled out the <a href=\"http:\/\/interorealestate.us1.list-manage2.com\/track\/click?u=480e95760bd6c8bf1a107fdad&amp;id=6a0ed12971&amp;e=42c3c08898\">Android Device Manager,<\/a> <strong>a free service<\/strong> that is the Android equivalent of <a href=\"http:\/\/interorealestate.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=480e95760bd6c8bf1a107fdad&amp;id=17ab369242&amp;e=42c3c08898\">Find My iPhone<\/a>.That\u2019s right, if you were worried about losing your Android phone, or leaving\u00a0it behind in some random public store or restaurant, you needn\u2019t worry any longer. If your phone is misplaced or even stolen, the Android Device Manager lets you track it.Did your phone fall between the cushions of your couch? Use the Android\u00a0Device Manager to make it ring, even if you left the phone on silent. Did you \u00a0 leave your phone behind somewhere? Use the Android Device Manager to locate your phone so you can go get it. Are you worried someone may have stolen it?\u00a0 Lock it or remotely erase it so none of your information can be stolen. To do\u00a0this, all you need is a computer with internet access.<\/p>\n<p>To make it work, you go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/interorealestate.us1.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=480e95760bd6c8bf1a107fdad&amp;id=a5f9410c03&amp;e=42c3c08898\">Android Device Manager website<\/a>, log into your Google account, follow the\u00a0 instructions to sync your phone up, and then you never have to worry about\u00a0losing your phone again! The setup is straightforward and very easy so don\u2019t \u00a0 be scared. You can expect Google to expand the service&#8217;s capabilities in the\u00a0near future. For example, Apple&#8217;s Find My iPhone lets you send text messages\u00a0and search for your phone from other iPhones.
