Did you know that Actor’s Playhouse on Miracle Mile started in an old movie theatre in Kendall for the first seven years of its life? In 1995 they partnered with Coral Gables and took on the $8 million project of renovating the historic Miracle Theatre. If you haven’t visited you should! The theatre has a very unique and historic feel to it and you can find both classic and contemporary live theater productions. They have a lot of programs for kids like summer camps, theater\/music classes and even talent contests. They also give back to the community with their outreach program for youths focusing on the inner-city neighborhoods. You could always consider this unique venue to host an event as they rent out their facilities for corporate or personal parties!
