The transaction ranks as the highest sale price ever paid for a single-family residence in Coconut Grove, and one of the Top 10 highest-priced sales of a single-family home in Miami-Dade County history. The buyer<\/span> is <\/span>Ransom Everglades School, wh<\/span>ose 10-acre campus <\/span>borders the estate located at 3551 Main Highway. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u201cRansom Everglades has been looking <\/span>at this property for some time and t<\/span>his transaction increases <\/span>its holdings <\/span>to approximately 16.9 acres,\u201d said Gonzalez, Vice President and top-producer with the brokerage firm, which is also the exclusive South Florida affiliate for Christie\u2019s International Real Estate. According to MLS data, EWM is the leader in the number of residential properties sold in excess of $1 million in Miami-Dade County through June 21, year-to-date. \u201cThe demand for acres of land \u2013 especially of this scope and location — is extremely high in South Florida, so this listing has been a rarity on the market and a prime opportunity for investment.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
