A friend told me a story a couple of weeks ago and I can’t get it out of my head. Actually, I don’t want to. It carries a great lesson for me — one I need and can use on a daily basis. Maybe you’ll find it helpful as well.<\/p>\n

\"wolves\"<\/a><\/p>\n

An elderly Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life…
\nHe said to them, “A fight is going on inside of me.” It is a terrible
\nfight, and it is between two wolves.<\/p>\n

One wolf is evil—he is fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed,
\narrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
\ncompetition, superiority, and ego.<\/p>\n

The other is good— he is joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity,
\nhunility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth,
\ncompassion, patience and faith.<\/p>\n

The same fight is going on inside every other person.<\/p>\n

His grandchildren thought about this for a minute, then one child asked,
\n“which wolf will win, Grandfather?”<\/p>\n
