{"id":67149,"date":"2020-04-06T15:08:06","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T15:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.myewm.com\/?p=67149"},"modified":"2020-04-06T15:08:06","modified_gmt":"2020-04-06T15:08:06","slug":"nar-offers-telehealth-to-realtors-at-no-cost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.myewm.com\/?p=67149","title":{"rendered":"NAR Offers TeleHealth to Realtors at No Cost"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"field field--name-field-summary field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field--item\">In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Realtors who register by April 15 will get no-cost round-the-clock access to online healthcare for two months.<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field--item\">\n<p>CHICAGO \u2013 The National Association of Realtors\u00ae (NAR) announced Thursday that it will expand access to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtorsinsurancemarketplace.com\/telehealth-offer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Members TeleHealth<\/a>\u00a0at no cost to its members who register before April 15. The program is as part of NAR\u2019s larger \u201cRight Tools, Right Now\u201d initiative that relaunched on March 27.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the nation continues to grapple with the COVID-19 crisis, we\u2019re doing everything we can to ensure our members and their families can stay safe, healthy and secure,\u201d says NAR CEO Bob Goldberg. \u201cAfter launching \u2018Right Tools, Right Now\u2019 last week, we promised to closely monitor the effects of this pandemic and update the initiative as needed. I\u2019m pleased to announce today the addition of Members TeleHealth, a long-term Realtor Benefits partner offering, to the RTRN toolkit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Members TeleHealth provides around-the-clock access to non-emergency healthcare from more than 2,300 board-certified U.S. physicians. Common issues addressed through telemedicine include allergies, asthma, rashes, joint aches, flu and nausea, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Starting now, NAR is funding two months of services for members if they currently lack access to telemedicine and enroll in the program by April 15. NAR says it\u2019s expecting significant interest from its members, and that it negotiated a discounted rate for members who want to retain the coverage after the two-month free period ends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMedical professionals are urging Americans who are sick to stay home, and telemedicine is playing a critical role protecting our communities and our health care workers,\u201d says NAR President Vince Malta. \u201cWe continue to encourage members to limit their exposure and decrease the chance of spreading illnesses to others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Through \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nar.realtor\/right-tools-right-now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Right Tools, Right Now<\/a>,\u201d Realtors can also access low-cost or no-cost webinars with tips for managing finances in uncertain times; educational resources to build or hone professional skills; and a free copy of the Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, among other business-critical resources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Realtors who register by April 15 will get no-cost round-the-clock access to online healthcare for two months.
