NAR recently purchased ePropertyData, a provider of commercial information exchange solutions. This acquisition will allow the development of a national database for commercial property listings (sale or lease). The new platform will launch mid-May and members will be able to aggregate their listings at no cost as well as benefit from all the resources that will be available for commercial members on CommercialSource.com, the commercial real estate marketplace.<\/p>\n
Realtors\u00ae who practice commercial real estate may elect to have their listings aggregated through their local CIE (Commercial Information Exchange) and\/or their local MLS. CommercialSource is working with associations nationwide who currently provide an MLS for commercial listing to port their listing to CommercialSource.com . Realtors\u00ae also may choose to post their listings directly through ePD\u2019s Web site. Realtors\u00ae will be able to post and have access to all the listings at no charge. Ultimately, millions of people will see the listings.<\/p>\n
The Realtors Commercial Alliance expects the site to become the primary source for all commercial real estate information on the Internet.<\/p>\n
