- Symmetry – Instead of trying to get the whole house in the photo – it is framed and balanced – 2 trees, 2 potted plants, 2 bay windows – all framing a focal point of the foyer which beckons the viewer to enter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Take a lot of pictures.\u00a0 Not that everyone will work, but you want to end up with at least 8 high resolution photos.<\/li>\n
- Clear the debris and distractions. Do try to take pictures while the furniture is still in the house.<\/li>\n
- Make sure you photograph the following areas:\u00a0 Exterior Front, Exterior back – both from the back of the house out to the yard and from the back of the yard towards the back of the house, All living areas, All bedrooms ( make sure you get a shot including the closet), All bathrooms, Kitchen (including appliances).<\/li>\n
- Play with the lighting – watch out for reflections from the sun or a flash.\u00a0 Don’t shoot into a mirror.<\/li>\n
- For interior shots – shoot from a corner into the room.\u00a0 Try from at least two corners to vary the exposure. Try some shots from the doorway or hall.<\/li>\n
- Make sure you take high resolution pictures.\u00a0 If you want to resize them use pixer.us<\/a>. Pixer is a great online photo editor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
