Lost does not necessarily mean “gone forever.”\u00a0 A lost item just means that it cannot be immediately recovered.<\/p>\n

Have you ever lost a file on your computer?\u00a0 You created it or downloaded it,\u00a0and you\u00a0could not\u00a0remember where you saved it. You’ve spent minutes, maybe hours<\/strong>, looking in where you thought you might have saved it.\u00a0\u00a0Clouded in doubt,\u00a0you gave up\u00a0wondering if you\u00a0ever saved it in the first place.<\/p>\n

You have a printed copy.\u00a0 Do you scan it in and save it as a pdf — only to find out it is no longer editable?\u00a0Or do you have an OCR<\/a> (optical character recognition-scanner) and save\u00a0the scan\u00a0as a text file only to have to reformat the entire document?\u00a0 \u00a0Horrors . . . .<\/p>\n
