Now, more than ever, we need to be up on our market trends. Special thanks to Karen Ross who put this post together to show how to provide some special Facts and Trends goodies for your customers.<\/p>\n<p>Some of our most memorable office meetings have been when Ron Shuffield has given us a market update using Facts &amp; Trends.\u00a0 You reviewed his <a title=\"Ron Shuffield - RE Oct 2008 Update\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EkrxpdU2vkQ\" target=\"_blank\">October 2008 Real Estate Market Update<\/a> video in a prior post.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Facts &amp; Trends is included in our basic training. Ron has stated these numbers are the foundation of our business. These reports and their interpretations are vital to any listing presentation or comparative market analysis for pricing residential property.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For agents new to EWM&#8217;s Facts &amp; Trends, below is a short video demonstrating how to access the program.\u00a0 You must be logged in to EWMRealtors.com.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0<div class=\"sc-lightbox image\"><span><img class=\"lightbox\" src=\"http:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/\/0.jpg\"><\/span><div class=\"image-overlay\"><div class=\"image-overlay-inner\"><div class=\"hover-icons\"><a class=\"hover-zoom prettyPhoto\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=\"\"><i><\/i><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Facts &amp; Trends can be used as a marketing hook.\u00a0 Before going to ANY event, PTA meeting, Chamber of Commerce, Weight Watchers, or party, run the numbers for your county and your specific area.\u00a0 Use the spreadsheet below to figure out the inventory one year ago, current inventory, increase\/decrease in sales and increase\/decrease in inventory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When someone walks up to you and asks you that famous question, &#8220;How&#8217;s the Market?&#8221; After you respond, &#8220;Unbelievable!&#8221; &#8212; \u00a0let the numbers roll off your tongue.\u00a0 Speaking in percentages increases your credibility and expertise status.\u00a0 Ask him if he would like these reports sent to him.
