Tonight I am taking a break from the email madness that has engulfed us all for the last few days.\u00a0 I thank you all for your patience and assistance.\u00a0 Moving that email cheese was a a big deal.\u00a0 In future challenges we will learn more about the new system and the great features it offers, but for now let’s talk about RSS.<\/p>\n

RSS is an acronym for Real Simple Syndication.\u00a0 Here is a great video to grasp the basic concept…<\/p>\n

RSS has tremendous implications for real estate.\u00a0 The obvious one from watching the video is subscribing to things you like to read – like blogs, news sites, etc.\u00a0 Think of a magazine or a newspaper subscription, but without paper or mail.\u00a0 Interested?<\/p>\n

There are 2 ways to subscribe to RSS feeds.\u00a0 The first is via email.\u00a0 All you need to do is fill in your email address and viola!\u00a0 any new articles appear in your email box for you to read when you want.\u00a0 The EWM Blog <\/a>has just such a box<\/p>\n

But not every site has email subscriptions, so you will have to have a feed reader (think online magazine rack) where you can go to read all of your favorites.\u00a0 A great place to start is<\/p>\n
