A few weeks ago, Beth Butler sent an email to all EWM Associates offering FREE MARKETING for your listings. Isn’t that great?!! The email said there were no strings attached. True, true, true! Your listings don’t have to be fabulous or priced over a million or even be incredibly photogenic. Absolutely nothing extraordinary needed – just a property you want to sell, a few words to describe the listing (don’t worry … we’ll lift your description from our website) and the most important thing – uploaded PHOTOS.
Very simple, yes? Well, maybe not. The Marketing Department received lots of requests for FREE STUFF. Mostly videos — which we were super happy about because we totally love to do them. Here’s the problem. In order to make a video, we need access to at least 12 good quality photos. We don’t want to be complainers over here, but numbers don’t lie: more than three quarters of the video requests we got were for properties that only had a couple of photos uploaded through My Listing Manager on EWMRealtors.com. Many didn’t have any photos at all.
Think about it. Can you imagine a 3-photo video? Try a no-photo video. Nope, won’t work. Oddly enough, it wasn’t just moderately priced homes that were photo-deprived. Many multi-million dollar estates also suffered from the same lack of exposure.
But, hey, we’re not giving up. We decided to put our offer out there again. EWM Marketing is all revved up and ready to produce FREE goodies for you. Videos with photos, blog posts with photos …. See where this is going? No photos, no free stuff. Only a few photos? No video.
Seriously, please don’t be left out of this valuable marketing loop. As soon as we produce a video of your listing, we upload it to EWM.com, EWMtv.com and YouTube. Did we forget anything?
