EWM has gotten behind the Race For the Cure once again. We are going to have a team and a tent at the event!! The date is October 17th and the celebration starts at 7:30 am. The actual race starts at 8:30am. There is a 5K walk and run and a one mile fun walk that starts at 8:50am.
75% of the proceeds from the Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Race for the Cure will stay in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties to support local breast cancer programs. 25% of the net funds will support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Grants Program-one of the country’s most innovative and responsive breast cancer gr
ant programs in existence today!!
This is such an important cause and I am sure there are not any of us whose lives have not been touched by this horrible disease. Let’s get together and enjoy a day of camaraderie to celebrate the lives touched by breast cancer. If you have not been to this event before, be prepared to be moved! The Survivor celebration is outstanding and very touching. It is truly a wonderful day. Please join us.
