At the request of my current Broward students, we are holding a workshop for rookie and veteran alike from 1pm to 4pm (or later if we need the time to complete a project) in the Weston Town Center large conference room. Bring your laptop (make sure you have access to EWM wireless BEFORE you come) and a snack. We will take a break if you want to walk to Starbucks for your snack.
Workshop Agenda (an attempt in this order):
1. Rookie Checklist (for Rookies) How are you doing? We’ll pass out the checklist and see where you are and where you need to be.
2. Your Database (get it uploaded into Max) — You’ve had plenty of time to do so, let’s finalize it.
3. Send out the Friends and Family letter. Sherrie Porter is so gracious to update this every year for us. This letter serves as your announcement to the world that you are in Real Estate and with the greatest company on the planet.
4. Create your first Max postcard mailing.
5. Create a mailing list from IMAPP and/or MLX tax. Demonstrations will be held on both. Order that card and get it to the presses! Get listing!
6. Marketing philosophies and where do you go from here.
7. Assistance with brochures in Max.
8. Assistance with CAMPAIGNS in Max.
9. Websites and Blogsites – What are my choices?
10. GoDaddy and securing a domain name and masking and forwarding that to a website.
11. Have your business cards been ordered?
12. Are you working on a blog and need some assistance getting it finalized and published?
13. Has your biography been submitted to me and uploaded to EWMRealtors.com?
14. Your photo, has it been taken and uploaded to EWMRealtors?
15. Is your listing presentation finalized? Do you want someone to practice with to perfect your presentation?
16. Anything else you want to know . . . .
If I get a request from Miami-Dade, I would be more than happy to repeat this Thursday, September 2, 2010, from 10-2 at the Coral Gables office. I know that many may be preparing to leave town for the holidays; therefore, please let me know if you have any interest in my holding this workshop in Coral Gables.
Thank you so much to my students. You have made my days such a pleasure. Your questions, interest and contribution to the classes have brought so much meat to the discussions at the training table. You are appreciated.
