Dear Family and Friends:
As most of you already know, in February of 2009, just shy of my three-month wedding anniversary, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was very lucky that even though, at a very advanced stage, this was a treatable, curable cancer. Although a difficult time for both my family and I, we have some happy news we’d like to share with you- this September I will be celebrating one year of complete remission.
Just two months out of remission, in October of last year, I learned about the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night Walk and what they were doing to fight blood cancers.
We’d like to thank all of those who participated with us last year.
With your support our team raised over $9,000? among the highest amount of any non-corporate team!
This year, on Thursday, October 21st at 6:00 PM, (Bayfront Park, Downtown Miami) we’d like to invite you to join our team, affectionately named by my wife: “Dan the Man,” and others from all over our community in the culmination of our efforts to find a cure. In an ambitious effort to out do ourselves, we hope we can count on your support.
Here are two ways you can help: Register with our team to walk and/or make a donation. *You don’t have to walk in order to donate (you can donate on behalf of a team member).

All Walkers who raise and/or contribute $100 or more will receive a one-of-a-kind Dan the Man team t-shirt, a lit balloon, and a food voucher the day of the event. Don’t worry, this is a short 2 mile walk; no fitness requirements are necessary.
