EWM Sing-Along, Part 3

sing along 3From the very second I woke up this morning I knew today was going to be special. I could hear it in the wind. Even my dogs’ ears perked up — all 4 of them — 4 ears, 2 dogs. We ran to the sliding glass doors, opened them wide and there it was. Plain as the breaking new day. Beautiful music wafting through the hills of South Florida! It’s Happy Friday so get ready to lift your voices in joyous harmony and sing, sing, sing…

Raindrops on windows and millwork on ceilings,

Doorbells on houses and paint that’s not peeling.

Bathrooms updated and fit for a king,

These are a few of my favorite things.

Analysts say there’s good news for the market.

A shiny new car and a great place to park it.

Listings that close and a cell phone that rings,

These are a few of my favorite things.

Transactions go smoothly, no errors or omissions

I sell five houses, get great big commissions.

Straight forward contracts with no messy strings,

These are a few of my favorite things.

When inspection fails,When the buyer freaks,When they goof up my ad.

I simply remember my favorite things,And then I don’t feel so bad.

Bravo! Encore!! Encore!!!

Homes with high ceilings and huge walk in closets,

Buyers who give earnest money deposits.

Children who need a new yard for their swings,

These are a few of my favorite things.

When the toilet leaks,When the window breaks,When my seller gets mad.

I simply remember my favorite things,And then I don’t feel so bad!!

Have you been practicing?

No joke — that was the best you’ve ever sounded.

Our Fridays are ALIVE with “The Sound of Suuusie” with songs we have sung for a thousand years 🙂

I really think you are in the wrong profession…Maybe this is your real calling?

Did you ever hear (or see on TV) Julie Andrews tell the story about when she had recovered from her throat surgery, how she went back to that spot (where she burst into the song “The hills are alive . . .) and looked around and tried out her post-surgery voice for the first time? At that moment she said some Japanese tourists came along and started taking pictures of her as if they just naturally expected that if they came to that spot, she would be there doing that. I love it!

I LOVE IT!! I’ll be humming it all day, and that is a good thing. Can I share it with a few of my customers? I think it would give them a kick and a view of what it is to be their Realtor… Thanks.
