I know I’m the one who keeps talking about getting your words just right when you submit your ads, but look at this. It’s a snippet of an email I received the other day. I read it with no problem. How about you?
Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno’t mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!
Actually, this is the second time I’ve received the same email. First time was a few years ago. I tried to confirm that it’s indeed based on a Cambridge study, but I couldn’t. Regardless, I still find the message fascinating. Your typing skills may be lacking and as a result your ads may look a little goofy, especially to your sellers, but at least there’s a good chance people will know what you’re talking about. Waht do you tihnk?
