Our mind is a battlefield which is attacked continuously with infinite thoughts related to either weak areas in our own lives, challenging circumstances or a difficult period that we are facing or going through in a brief indefinite moment.
The best way to fight against those negative thoughts that lead to preoccupation and anxiety is to renew the mind by rejecting those thoughts that are attacking us daily and rebuking the ones that have been accepted and have been stored as true and now are living with us.Once those thoughts have been acknowledged, it is necessary to replace them or renew them with positive thoughts that will inspire us… peace, hope and faith. How can the mind or the old way of thinking be renewed?
How do we rebuke all those thoughts or attacks that are sent to our mind daily? Faith is built up and strengthened by positive thinking by whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure and whatever is admirable.
If anything is excellent or praiseworthy, you should focus on those things. Negative faith is to accept doubts, being pessimistic and all the opposite to positive faith.Be alert!!! As a brave, strong soldier who is ready to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, stand firm.
Even though, in the present there is no light at the end of the tunnel; a person must be able to renew the mind by positive thinking and building up one’s faith by being sure of what he or she hope for and certain of what he or she doesn’t see.Once you see the light at the end of the tunnel you have overcome the challenge and gained faith. In doing so, you have gained knowledge, built up patience and strengthened your skills. You may have suffered for a little while, but now you will be able to help others who are going or will be going through the same situation.
Preoccupation: Something that engrosses distracts with excessively concern the state of the mind. (As defined in Webster’s II Dictionary )
Anxiety: Uneasiness, distress, and worried about future uncertainties. A troubled state of mind. (As defined in Webster’s II Dictionary)
Let’s not ignore that preoccupation is the result of anything that is out of our control and that we feel powerless to change the situation we are faced with. Human nature impulses man to try to control everything, however when we are faced with the impossible to be changed; that is where the battle of the mind begins.
The mind gets bombarded negative thoughts or ideas that lead to preoccupation, anxiety and depression which lead to even a worse state of mind.Everyone has the absolute DIVINE POWER in our hearts and mind to do quality control and filter out all negative thoughts. Many thoughts can pass through the mind, but it’s up to us as to what we allow to stay. Don’t forget that a bird may be able to fly over our head but it’s up to us whether or not let the bird build a nest on top of our head!!!
