New Website! New Features! New Look!

The new website is up and going. During the next couple of days things will need to be adjusted so they work properly. These little problems are known as “bugs“. I will post some of the most important ones below this post as comments, if you notice something is not working properly please post your comment below, so that everyone can see that it was reported.     Also, I find it very hard to locate the “find agents” hyperlink. Shouldn’t that be on the main page? Currently you have to go to “about EMW” and scroll all the way down the page in hopes of finding the small hyperlink in the text. Also when you click the letter of the last name, it shows no results.

    looks cool! i did a search in the foreclosure properties from $0-$200,000 in Miami Beach & Coral Gables. It gave me the right results for Miami Beach, but for the Gables, it gave me foreclosed properties priced over $1M! yikes!

    This is awesome! I love the new look. I’m wondering if there is a way to go back to the home page though without having to launch http://www.ewm.com each time. I didn’t see a home button listed at the top. Once I started exploring other pages, there didn’t seem to be a way to get back to the main page again.

    Welcome Web 2.0! The look is excellent, easy to navigate, except for the “Agents” section. Some things to correct, but it’s great.

    New page looks great…but yes hard to find agents (general public) and after I found myself, all my info was missing? Bio, Quote, My other Web page address…Are these things still being transfered? I went to the EWMRealtors site and all my info is still there?

    When I scroll down to the bottom of the page, it does not give me the option to go to ‘previous posts’. This evening I could only read the 10 that were on the screen.

    Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I did not have this problem previously.

    Hi Mario,
    I have two suggestions. They are as follows: We need to have “Find an Agent” in the home page. Once you are in the agent’s listings, we need the MLS # for each available property–very important. Thank you.

    Thank you all for your feedback. Here are some of the answers below.

    We are leaving the website as is for a little while to determine the consumer trend with regards to “find and Agent” – Currently it’s located under About EWM – Search for a Real Estate Professional. A drop down menu is being worked so that it’s accessible from the any section of the website.

    Laura, Regarding the Search, I tried to duplicate it and I did not see homes over 1M in the foreclosure search. If can please copy and paste me the URL http://www.ewm.com/properties/#pag etc etc. I can analyze it and determine the problem.

    Laura, regarding the TABS, I’m not sure, can you please let me know which version of Internet Explorer you are using? Click on Help | About Internet explorer.

    Robert, The red X should have gone away, Please let me know if you still see this.

    Updated the following Sections:
    – Agent’s can be searched by Lang, Branch Office
    – The full view of the photos is now resized to the proper size for maximum exposure.
    – The quick Search Box on the top of the page now behaves like the old one.
    – Navigational Bredcrumbs have been corrected.
    – Permalink Redirect of old website content to new website.

    – Little suggestions and Additions left to Fix.
    Property/Property Search
    – The full photo view of a listing will have photos that will do a slideshow.
    – Include the virtual tour links
    – Make changes happen Live on the site (Comments, Photos, Main Photo)
    Agents/Search pages
    – Make the BIO, Languages LIVE
    – When searching by Language the first the the consumer pulls the list it will randomly select those who speak a certain language, so that all agents get the same exposure and not sorted by ALPHA.

    I’m using Internet Explorer 7.0.6. I tried the foreclosure search again, & all properties came inside price range

    **new item** the virtual tours that were linked to our listings are not showing up on the listing page with the additional photos.
