90 Day Challenge – Day 27 – Let’s Get Blogging

While strolling around in a small town in North Carolina I overheard a group of older ladies trying to decide where they would go to lunch that day.  As they deliberated, the smart one in the group said “Let’s go into the local Realtor office – they would know where a good lunch place is… Realtors know everything about their town”.

I smiled and thought – they are right.  I know that her statement is true – Realtors do know everything about their market.  They not only know where to eat lunch, but they know where the best places are to get your hair cut, your dog groomed, your roof fixed and a million other things.  Which leads me to one of the best reasons to blog.  Your current and future customers want to know what you know.  They want to hear more from you that what you just listed or just sold, they want to know what is going on in your neighborhood – where to eat, where to shop, what is going on over the weekend and of course anything that has to do with real estate in your neighborhood.

With this is mind, we will be focusing on blogging over the next week or so.  Simply put, blogging is a way that you can let people know what you know.  With all of the tools we have already learned in the 90 Day Challenge, you will not only keep your current customers up to date with what is going on in your nightborhood, but also through the magic of search engines, you will be able to reach new customers who are looking for that neighborhood information but may not know you yet.
