Attaching Video to e-mail

Help!  I bought this cool little Flip video recorder for my son and have been using it to film stuff for YouTube.  I have not problem uploading to YouTube, but cannot get the video file (played in Windows Media Player) to attach to an e-mail I want to send to a customer in Angola.  I cannot upload this video into YouTube because I don’t want someone’s house and not my listing on YouTube.  I have received e-mails with video attachments, but cannot figure out how to send one.  I have tried on both our new ewm mail and through g-mail.  I have also shrunk the videos into a zip file to decrease the size, which appeared to be the problem with sending it via g-mail.  Thanks to all techies who reply!

Thanks, Karen. It is in .avi format. Do you have any idea how to inbed a video into an e-mail? I just received an e-mail with a link that took me to a windows media player video. In the meantime, I will upload to UTube as private.

It depends on the e-mail system. I cannot speak for all. Better to have the link in the e-mail which takes you to the video. Just keep the video private.
