Have you ever been in EWMRealtors.com looking for a particular form, and were unable to find it? Let me show you a trick! If you hit Control “F”, a search box will appear, and you will then be able to search the web browser for keywords. Let me demonstrate.
This is what the website looks like when you first open it up.
By hitting Control “F”, a search box pops up, and you are able to enter the search word of your choice.
As you can see, the search term is highlighted in yellow, and you are also able to see that you have 13 matches. Here are some other keyboard commands that can help you in your everyday computer life.
Windows system key combinations
- F1: Help
- CTRL+ESC: Open Start menu
- ALT+TAB: Switch between open programs
- ALT+F4: Quit program
- SHIFT+DELETE: Delete item permanently
- Windows Logo+L: Lock the computer (without using CTRL+ALT+DELETE)
Windows program key combinations
- CTRL+C: Copy
- CTRL+X: Cut
- CTRL+V: Paste
- CTRL+Z: Undo
- CTRL+B: Bold
- CTRL+U: Underline
- CTRL+I: Italic
