The Heat is On as we kick off EWM’s new six-week listing contest beginning Monday, January 30th through Friday, March 9th, 2012.  It promises to be a fun action-packed season as we strive to generate new listings and replenish our decreasing inventory.  Below are all the exciting details of EWM’s Listing Championship Contest.

The Teams
The EWM Listing League has two conferences.  The EWM-N will consist of the Northern offices: Aventura, Brickell, Miami Beach, Las Olas and Weston.  The EWM-S will consist of our Southern offices:  Alhambra, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables-South Miami, Key Biscayne and Pinecrest-Palmetto Office.  Each office will select their team name, colors and may also create a logo.  All Associates are hereby drafted for play.

EWM Scheduling Procedures
There will be 4 quarters, or in this case 4 weeks of play, a Final Four Playoff Game, and 1 Championship Game.  The season will run from January 30th through March 9th, 2012.  Teams play each week earning points.  In the Playoff round, the first-place team from each conference plays the second-place team during the 5th week, with the winners meeting for the Championship Game during the 6th week.

Scoring
3 Point Shot
– Any Residential or Commercial Listing is worth three points.
Field Goal – Any Rental Listing is worth two points.
Free Throw – Any placed Outgoing Referral is worth one point.

Giveaways & Prizes
To be eligible for giveaways and recognition as our weekly MVP (Most Valuable Player), all listings must appear on each week’s caravan sheet.   MVP will be given to the Associate receiving the most total points for their office during that week of play.  In the event of a tie, the highest dollar volume will be used to determine the winner.  The MVP of the week will receive a $30 ad bill credit check awarded by their sales manager at each week’s sales meeting.  The Associate receiving the most total points within their office at the end of our contest will be awarded recognition as Most Outstanding Player for their office and will receive a $100 ad bill credit check and a trophy.

At the end of our contest, EWM will also have a drawing for 3 iPads.  Anyone with 10 or more points will be eligible.  Once an associate has reached 10 points, each listing and/or referral appearing on the caravan sheet will be submitted as an entry.  The more listings and referrals placed, the greater the chances to win.

How to win EWM’s Championship Game
At the start of our contest beginning on January 30th, EWM will pull each office’s listing inventory.    During the contest we will keep track of all new listings…residential, commercial and rental listings.  On March 9th, EWM will take the total number of new listings for each office and from there, determine the office with the highest percentage increase of listings.  The office with the highest percentage increase will win EWM’s Listing Championship and $500 for a Championship Party.  Date and time of party and celebration to be determined by office sales manager.
