Week 3 Judging Results

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more Many thanks to Michael Miller of the Community Newspapers who took the time to read all of our community info so far. Here is what he had to say…

“Enclosed please find five great blogs that we enjoyed. They were informative, relevant, very timely and aimed to connect with the reader.

The information was easy to understand, useful and also served to educate the consumer. Loved Italian Cooking Show… and Wine tasting story. It was fun and connected people to Coral Gables and beyond.”

And the winners are…

  1. James Venney – Berkshire Eyeing Countrywide?
  2. Jennifer Wollmann – 6 Ways to Make Your Listing Stand Out
  3. Carlos Ruiz de Quevedo- Deadline to petition a Property Value Adjustment
  4. Mark Moren0 – How to Estimate Taxes on Prospective Properties in Miami Dade County
  5. Debra Spadafora – My Taxes Went Up????

Since our judge is a newspaper man – it seems he really liked the “topical” real estate and mortgage stuff. Congrats to this week’s winners.

Off to put the poll up and start sending me those best and worst stories.

My daughter (who attended Mia Cucina’s event and was inspired to learn to cook as a result!) read my blog on The Italian Cooking Show and Wine Tasting. My husband SAID he read it, and actually appeared to have done so (but “skimming it” would be a more apt description). Michael Miller of the community newspapers read EACH AND EVERY EWM BLOG: commenting, judging, and inspiring us to reach out into our community more… sharing our niches and neighborhoods, and why South Florida is such an attractive destination. Michael Miller and Beth Butler, thank you both. Our community newspapers are instrumental in setting the tone, and nurturing the allure! Regardless of the market or the mortgage rates, Miami has, and will continue to have, an intense appeal… attracting people from across the globe… Our community newspapers and our blogs broadcast the beauty of what we have in our own backyard.
