Effective Feb 27th photos attached to a specific MLS listing cannot be copied and reused for other listings – these photos belong to someone else. If you are the listing agent and the owner of these photos, you retain the right to use/reuse the photos based on your ownership. In addition, photos that you have not purchased for distribution and/or display,
but have “right clicked” on and copied are a possible violation of copyright laws and are also not allowed in the MLS.
This change in MLS photo Policy will help prevent members from potentially violating copyright law.
