Listing Tips- No Caps and Check your pictures

Thank you all for blogging. I am surprised and pleased that you all are catching on to this so quickly. Just a few things to consider…

1. Please do not use all caps – this is the internet equivalent of SCREAMING- I have fixed a few, but I am really starting to get a lot of posts now, so I will not publish any screamers.

2. At this time, there is no way I can tell if you are finished with your post or not. In other words, a draft looks the same to me as your final post. Please put a notation in the Title saying READY – I will delete it when I publish it. But this way I will know if you are ready to go.

3. Please resize your pictures. Remember pixer.us is a free interent based photo sizer – use it! Once you upload your photo – “select” the photo by clicking it and justify the picture- right, left or cent – just makes things look nice.

Keep an eye out for more thoughts by me, your Blogerator! 🙂

Is it possible to leave a link to pixer.us in the write page or a note on how to resize pictures?

Beth, I am taking note about resizing the photos. I was able to use pixer for the photo I used in my post. Can I use it for my photo also? I look “squished”.

    Hi Beth,

Even though I missed the 1st hour of the class. I’m plugging away at putting in my listings. I can’t remember how to wrap the words around the picture. Where might I find that info. Thanks.

Ines- great idea – Ill see what I can do.

Joann – I am blown away!

Patty – you have to work on your picture you should probably crop it and the resize so more of your face shows

Andrea – push the TREE button while having the picture clicked – play around with it – you will find the choices that suit you best.

Andrea, as Beth advised used the TREE button to format. Try using 1 or 2 for the border, 2 for verticle and 10 for horizonal. These are the numbers from Jim’s class yesterday. It will give you a start.
