Miami (Super) Market Update

Pinecrest’s Whole Foods Market, located at 11701 South Dixie Highway, is scheduled to close its doors for good on January 7th. If, like me, you are a Whole Foods shopper, then have no fear because the Market’s newest South Florida location is opening on the 11th! The new Pinecrest outpost will be located at 7930 SW 104th Street, just about a mile away from the old store. I love the fact that Whole Foods is relocating all of its Pinecrest employees to the new market, and because it is a larger place, they will be hiring even more workers. A new, bigger Whole Foods that is creating more jobs? Sounds like a win!

If you are wondering what will happen with the old Whole Foods space, you will be pleasantly surprised to learn that a new Milam’s Market will be opening there this Spring. I happen to love this local grocery chain, and I think that Pinecrest is a fabulous place for their newest location!
