Make it a great day on the greens supporting Urban Promise, a phenomenal program that provides a safe haven and nurturing environment for elementary and middle school kids in Little Havana with after school care, tutoring, leadership training, extra curricular activities and most importantly mental health care to the kids and their families all for free, year round! It was started by two Carrollton alumnae and 2020 marks their 10 year anniversary serving our community. My son Paco is the Ambassador of the Urban Promise 305 Club with over 40 Belen families that support a child in the program for the year with a $25 dollar a monthly donation. The Belen students also volunteer for tutoring, soccer clinics and more on a weekly basis.
