  • Do you know the twelve Most Powerful Words in the English Language?  These words have been proven to evoke emotion in a listener or reader.
  • Are you overusing useless modifiers?how-to-wow.jpghow-to-wow.jpg  Those fifteen words are as follows:  Amazing, Awesome, Boring, Cool, Exciting, Extraordinary, Fun, Good, Great, Hard, Incredible, Interesting, Nice, Terrific, and Wonderful
  • Are you using your diaphragm to improve/darken the timbre of your voice?

“In the 1970’s, Yale** University compiled this data after long-term experiments in Neuro-linguistic programming These words have been proven to evoke emotion in a listener or reader.  Bear in mind that the words are in no particular order.  The theory runs along the lines of weaving as many of the words into your vocabulary as often as possible. Apparently, this was not lost on the major advertising agencies across the world, as we notice all 12 words appearing in all types of media.  . . . ” A quasi quote from  everything.com (**the website stated Duke did the study; the book stated Yale did the study — somebody did it!)

Now that you know this, how are you going to weave the 12 most powerful English words into your presentation AND TOTALLY AVOID the fifteen most useless modifiers?
