Problems with uploading blog pictures

I am having problems uploading pictures to my blog.  They upload fine, but when I try to change alignment, borders etc., the picture disappears and is replaced by two little black squares.  The only way I can keep the picture is the way it uploads.  Is anyone else having these issues?

    This is Nora Dominguez, I am Maxine Hagey’s Assistant.
    I have been trying to upload pictures for Maxine’s blogs with no result. I experienced the same thing you have. I thought it was me and encouraged my husband (who is very technological) to help me and he got the same results.

    I’m having the same problems when you try to align and remove the border however, I found a work around. Place your cusor where you want the picture to go, then upload the picture,use the symbols for left, center and right and it works.
