There are 2 kind of permits the EXPIRED and the OPEN PERMITS.EXPIRED permits are considered the ones that have had no activities for 6 months. They are not a CLOUD or a LIEN on the property.When the seller doesn’t comply with the NOTICE OF VIOLATION:a. Fee is $500.00 plus $10.00 surchargeb. If ignore above 30 days it will be $500.00/day for next 20 days.c. If ignore then a LIEN is place.If you replace 25% of the windows, the code requires that ALL windows have shutters installed.Hoping that this information will benefit you when listing a property.CHAO!
